Randy and Mary Ann Capps first set foot in an olive oil shop in 2012 while on vacation in Maine. They immediately knew it was something they wanted to look into. After visiting other stores and speaking with other owners, they began the process of opening their own olive oil store in April 2014. Since then, they have poured all their energy into learning the business and preparing the space in North Myrtle Beach that is now Strand Olive Oils.
“We had reached the point in our lives when, instead of retiring, we decided to permanently move into our home in North Myrtle Beach and start another chapter,” Randy explains. “By opening this business, which we are truly excited about, we are able to not only offer the best products available, but also have the opportunity to educate people on the health benefits of these products.”
Randy has over 35 years experience in the insurance industry, during which time he focused on building relationships and providing superior customer service. Mary Ann has over 16 years of experience in retail merchandising.
